POULSBO, WA, January 7, 2026 – Watson, a pioneer in mission-critical furniture since 1986, is proud to launch Apollo, the most advanced workstation available on the market. Apollo reimagines the modern dispatch workstation, uniting powerful functionality and elegant design to disrupt the public safety industry.

Apollo sets a new industry standard for how furniture can support dispatcher well-being, integrate advanced technology, and deliver future-ready design.

“With Apollo, we’re creating more than a workstation—we’re providing a long-term solution that will support public safety for decades to come,” said CK McKenzie, President of Watson. “Apollo exemplifies our commitment to purposefully designing products that meet the unique demands of a 24/7 environment.”

Drawing on decades of design, engineering, and manufacturing expertise, Apollo solves challenges public safety faces today and tomorrow: evolving technology, space constraints, and the importance of dispatcher well-being.

Lighting, climate control, focal depth, and other ergonomic functions are activated through a central touchscreen. The ability to have user-set profiles that move with each operator allows them to access their personalized comfort settings at any Apollo workstation with a simple RFID card.

Apollo includes not just height adjustability in its worksurface, but height adjustability and focal depth adjustments in the monitor display system, which allows you to lower monitors below the worksurface for optimized sightlines.

“Comfort matters so much on a long shift,” said Amanda Hamilton, Watson Sales Representative and former dispatcher. “The ability to fully customize my workstation to myself, and save it? Changes everything.”

Each of these ergonomic features directly supports dispatcher well-being in high-pressure environments. Rapid, personalized adjustments reduce strain and awkward postures. Optimized sightlines and layouts help minimize eye strain and cognitive overload during critical decision-making. Environmental controls regulate comfort to help dispatchers maintain focus, manage stress, and sustain performance through long shifts. Together, these capabilities empower dispatchers to work more comfortably, safely, and effectively.

Apollo builds upon Watson’s legacy of durability and smart engineering. It can be configured for the smallest to the largest centers with its scalable 4-to-9-foot workstation footprint. Included in workstation options are:

  • Linear – The most efficient design for clean rows and tightly aligned positions
  • Corner – The traditional 90° workstation for classic bull-pen layouts
  • Wing – A 120° shape, featuring ample worksurface for spreading out and creative layouts

“Apollo is built for the next generation of public safety,” said Lucas Pearl, VP of Product Development. “Every detail, from its scalable footprint to its personalized comfort controls, is designed to help dispatchers perform their best while giving centers the flexibility to evolve.”

Its modular design streamlines installation and minimizes downtime. This flexibility empowers agencies to adapt, expand, or reimagine their spaces without major cost or disruption.

Watson’s recent investments in advanced manufacturing equipment have enabled greater precision throughout Apollo’s design and production process. Engineered with specifications that support easy installation (like its unique steel frame and ergonomic standards aligned with HFES (Human Factors and Ergonomics Society) guidelines. These efficiencies enhance product quality and allow Apollo to be one of the most competitively priced solutions in the market.

Apollo breaks the mold of workstation design without sacrificing creature comforts or aesthetic appeal. From cupholders and custom lighting, to branded screens and directional air control, dispatchers have convenient, personalized touches that enhance comfort and usability without interrupting their workflow.

True to the Watson brand, comfortable and durable doesn’t mean it has to look ugly. Apollo elevates any space with design details like perforated steel hubs, round columns, curved edges, grain-matched surfaces, and materials sourced from some of the best vendors in America.

Apollo marks a new era for public safety, where innovation, comfort, and performance seamlessly work together. Experience Apollo at an upcoming conference, including NAVIGATOR (April 21-24), NENA (June 27-July 2), and APCO (August 2-5), or learn more online at www.watsonconsoles.com.
